AMULANCE Pulls Out Of Germany's HEADBANGERS OPEN AIR Festival
June 5, 2008Cult metal band AMULANCE has issued the following update:
"In the face of adversity, AMULANCE has lost two members due to personal reasons and as a result are left with the regretfully difficult decision of canceling all shows. Efforts made to resolve and keep the band together were ineffective before coming to this grave conclusion. The fate of AMULANCE's future is yet to be determined by the remaining members.'
"It's an unfortunate yet inevitable part of life," says vocalist Rik Baez. "Situations arise (usually when you think that it couldn't get any worse) and no matter how hard you try, you can't please all of the people all of the time. Sometimes it just ends up being a lose-lose situation for everyone involved."
"I agree," says bassist Thom Braddish. "We can't be pissed because we aren't walking in their shoes. It would be a cop-out to say that any one of us would handle it better because talk is cheap. All we are left with is wishing the guys the best and deciding whether we should move forward with AMULANCE or not."
AMULANCE was previously scheduled to appear at this year's installment of the Headbangers Open Air festival, set to take place July 24-26, 2008 in Brande-Hrnerkirchen, Germany.
